‘FLW OUTDOORS’ TV TO FOCUS ON WAL-MART RCL, FLW TOURS
MINNEAPOLIS (April 1, 2003) — This week on “FLW Outdoors” television, co-hosts Carlton Wing and Taylor Carr will focus on several FLW Outdoors tournament trails, particularly the $3.07 million Wal-Mart RCL Walleye Tour, set to kick off the 2003 season Wednesday, and the $5.76 million Wal-Mart FLW Tour, which is halfway through its most notable season yet. Also featured on the program will be updates on the EverStart Series and the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League.
Featured guests will include RCL Angler of the Year Tim Minnema of Markesan, Wis.; FLW Outdoors’ Director of Walleye Operations Mark Dorn; and twins Marty and Scott Glorvigen of Grand Rapids, Minn., both of whom compete on the RCL Tour. Bass-angling fans will want to tune in Saturday for a profile on Yamaha pro Dean Rojas of Grand Saline, Texas, and a breakdown of Paducah, Ky., native and Evinrude pro Dan Morehead’s recent success on Lake Murray. Morehead is currently the Land O’Lakes Angler of the Year points leader.
The “FLW Outdoors” crew will also go smallmouth fishing on the Mississippi River with pro Jim Moynagh of Carver, Minn., and take a look at next week’s $1.26 million Wal-Mart Open with defending champion Andre Moore of Scottsdale, Ariz.
