Anyone else going out to fish erie is september for the final stren midwest tournament of the year? Never been out to the great lakes before, but can’t wait to get out there and catch the biggest smallie of my life! BOOOOMMM!!!!!!!!!
Yep, I’ll be heading out there. I’ve fished Erie and St. Clair for Federation Divsional tournaments and they’re both awesome. There’s a 7+ smallie in Erie that I hope to get revenge on this time! He whooped me bad the first time.
Should be a great tourney with lots of 4-5 lb. fish caught. Hopefully the wind won’t be too bad, because it doesn’t take much to make it ugly out there.
hey guys, when is your Federation tournament? I know Stren is there next week. I’m fishing out there the week of the 20th for the Fishers of Men Regional…Lots of tourneys is sounds like?
We fished the Stren tourney. The Federation tourneys I was referring to were years ago.
Not only was there a Stren tourney there, but a BFL went out of the same place on Saturday, about 10 minutes after the top 10 in the Stren took off.
Lots of tourneys out there, but it doesn’t seem to hurt anything. Unbelieavable fishery, if you can actually fish it.
