    ps. we are in need of a few more people to help staff the tourney. if there is anyone out there who would like to meet Mr Holst and put a name with a face of a few more IDA family members your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Just a heads up to anyone fishing this. The DNR were out last Sunday with Binocs in hand looking for people culling. Our club had a tournament out of Hudson and a few guys were caught with 5 fish and told they would get fined if they put the trolling motor down again. Apparently you can’t even fish for walleeye when you have your limit. Just remember culling is illegal and the DNR hates bass guys so they won’t hesitate to bust you.

    I would hope they wouldn’t hesitate to bust you if you are breaking the law. While I don’t agree with the no-cull law for bass, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t follow the rules. Especially in a tourney.

    And NO, I will not be fishing this. I’m going to be working the dock with a T-Shirt that says “Eat more BASS”. I’ll be the guy right beside BrianK, wearing the same shirt!!!

    Kooty;
    I’ll bring the big deep fryer and beer batter…….

    We will roll the smallies in the beer batter, deep fry them, then chew off the cooked beer batter and throw the smallie in the trash!

    I’m in on this one. All the flavor is in the batter and bass taste like crap anyway.

    The great thing about a 53″ muskie is that you can use the “Y” bones for toothpicks……..but you probably wouldn’t need one since you only have 1 tooth!

    OK folks;
    I’m going to sweeten the deal here……..

    Due to the great support of IDA and you for my business, I’m going to throw in a little kicker!

    1) Biggest bass weighed: $120 (get your entry money back)
    2) 2nd biggest bass weighed: $50
    3) 3rd biggest bass weighed: $30

    This is completely seperate from any winnings from the payouts given by IDA. However, James and IDA will be distributing this money.

    Compliments of me, Wellmanmortgage, and Midwest Lending.

    Thanks for you support!!!

    All of the entry forms requested recently have been sent out. I’m exticed to see the turn out this year.I have been getting lots of e-mail and a ton of calls on the cell. I havent done a count recently but I belive we have about 15 pre registered so far and more on the way!!! that doubles last years pre registration and we still have over 2weeks left. PLUS we had at least 15 teams register at the landing befor blast off last year. So I’m looking forward to a BIG turn out this year. guys get your entry form in ASAP to avoid the late fee. if you have any questions give my cell a call 651-214-8875 thanks

    A question was brought up to me regarding the big bass! Can one boat get paid for more than one place?

    Thanks

    NOPE. The multiple big bass pay out is a way to try to spread the wealth
    BTW thanks again Gary!!!
