    This lake Amistad sounds like a fantasy land.

    5 anglers have 1 day sacks of over 30 lbs. It sounds
    like multiple 10 pounders were caught too.

    I think we all live in the wrong part of the country. It
    must be nice to have a place like that near by.

    It all seems good until you realize that is smack dab in the midddle of South Texas. After spending a couple of years in the Corpus Christie area, one of my greatest hopes is that I will never have to visit South Texas again as long as I shall live.

    The area is truly one of the biggest S*** holes in the US of A. I simply do not buy into the Texas BS anymore. I have lived in many places and South Texas is the most backwards place I have ever had the displeasure to visit.

    You will be a lot happier catching 4 and 5 lbers here than you will be catching 10 lbers there.

    A full 33% of all the new homes sold in the state of Texas have wheels on them .

    I lived in texas for 5 years, i loved it.
