American Bass Anglers Club Affiliation Program (CAP)

    February 9, 2006

Athens, AL – After receiving many requests from bass clubs across the country American Bass Anglers is proud to announce the American Bass Anglers Club Affiliation Program (CAP). The CAP will allow bass clubs to affiliate with American Bass Anglers, receive benefits and at the same time preserve their club autonomy.

It is recognized that local bass clubs are singularly the largest part of the bass fishing family in America. Over the years clubs have become affiliated with other organizations and have realized little from their efforts and are now looking for a new and fresh approach. The CAP will provide this by giving clubs the opportunity to still compete locally, but also have an approach to advance to national competition with slots into the newly formatted American Bass Anglers National Championship starting in 2007.

American Bass Anglers is all about the promotion of the weekend angler. ABA provides a great alternative for bass clubs and their members who want to be a part of something much larger. ABA keeps the approach simple and removes the barriers the typical club member faces in the uphill battle and the 50,000 to 1 shot for a year end national championship.

We invite bass clubs and club members to contact American Bass Anglers and receive a complete package of information about the American Bass Anglers Club Affiliation Program. Call 888-203-6222 or fill out the online form located at http://www.americanbassanglers.com
