Does anyone know who won the Silverado Top Ten Shootout and how the others placed?

That link doesn’t show the Top Ten Shootout results.

Does anyone know how the anglers placed in the Top Ten tournament? What lake did they fish on?

Corey G. won it. They fished Lake Independence. Not many bass caught, but everybody caught at least 2 muskies.

They originally drew Lake Minnewashta out of the hat, but after the anglers informed them that it was a catch and release lake, they decided they were going to Independence.

I wouldn’t hold my breath on seeing the results posted. They are not very good at that sort of stuff.

Thanks for the update. Corey really finished strong.

Do you know if there was a payout for all ten or just the first place $40k boat?

Just the boat for 1st. My partner got 2nd and got nothing.

On a side note, when Corey won the tournament of champions, we was labeled the Angler of the Year, even though he did not have the most points for the year. Scott Johnson actually had the most points for the year. In most big time circuits, isn’t the AOY usually the high points earner and a different title for the TOC winner? What are your thoughts?

Yeah, I agree about the AOY. But supposedly the idea is that the Shootout is similiar to the NASCAR chase for the cup, so that’s why Corey was named AOY. However, if you look at the Silverado web site, they have added Scott as the “High Points Pro”. Too bad he didn’t get anything for that accomplishment.
