OK I hope this will get the attention of most everyone here. I have been contacted by BASS to help get some info to set up a the new Hawkeye division. Schedule is still tenative but they will have 4 tournaments all on the Mississippi River. PDC; LAX; Clinton,IA; and Burlington/Ft. Madison.

I know who to contact in Clinton and Burlington but I’m not familiar with PDC and LAX. Can someone give me some contact info for who to contact in those cities. I guess I can search for their chamber of commmerce but some of you should know who sets these things up I’m sure.

I’m sure there will be more info coming soon but for now know it is coming and they expect to have 150 boat fields similar to BFL when it is in the area.

A good contact for Wisconsin would be Mike Hoffman. He is the BASS Wisconsin State federation president. [email protected]

That is cool. Has anyone fished any of these events in other divisions?

Glenn…check out the bassmaster website for details on the tourneys. Personnally I don’t think they will equal the BFL. I don’t like the idea of combined weights for the AM’s side.. Also the paybacks look like they could be better…But who knows maybe it will be ok…I’m sure the benefits for the local businesses are good..I support that…

The Bassmaster series will be coming to Wisconsin as well. They are fishing pools 3 & 4, Pools 7-9, the Wolf River Chain, and the Chippewa Flowage. I think this should be a fun trail to fish.
