ABA District 46 tourney 6/26 — RESULTS!

The next ABA district 46 tourney will be on Lake George near Andalusia, ILL. Boaters and non-boaters welcome. If you live or fish around the river this is a great circuit to get into with tourneys stretching the length of Iowa on the river as well as on surrounding lakes. Lake George is trolling motor only so all you need (according to the rules) is a boat with a console and functioning livewell (and fully charged batteries for the trolling motor). LAKE GEORGE- 6/26/05

It was a tough day on George with hot (85 degree) water and lots of “happy” (intoxicated) locals filling many prime spots and making plenty of noise.

1st- JJ Patton- 4 fish 8.56 lbs- all of my keepers were caught swimming lures- 2 on a brovarney 1/4 oz swim jig with a sweet beaver trailer, 1 on a shallow square billed crank and 1 on a gator tail worm. All were relating somewhat to wood structure, no particular depth

2nd- Jeremiah Bagwell- caught big bass (3.8 lbs) on a homemade snooty jig (Do- it) fishing wood cover

3rd-Paul Hovonick- caught 2 keepers on a smallie beaver flipping and pitching wood

4th- chris devries

(sorry, results unofficial due to not having weights/etc at time of post but im pressured by the moderators lol)
