The Eastern Iowa American Bass Anglers will be holding their next tournament this weekend on Sunday May 22nd on Pool 19. Launch is in Burlington Ia. Late registration runs from 4 to 5am. This new district has become the biggest in the area so come help us grow it even more if you are in the Pool 19 area.

We had a great turnout and good weather for this one. 1st place was taken by Brett Rudy from West Burlington, IA with 5 bass weighing 11.84lbs. Almost everyone brought in fish and I got a good start at learning a new pool.

Well I don’t know about 12th being good but I’m not too dissapointed. It was new pool and I was kind of lost. Then having to shorten my day by an hour to get everyone else out first and then return early to setup weigh-in does make it difficult to do well in my tournaments. Maybe that is why nearly all of my wins came from other districts.
But all in all it doesn’t matter. I’m having a good time and that is what it’s all about.
