Sorry cant do that. DNR says Prescott up to the I 94 Bridge. but come on you can still do it hope you can make it, you will just have to find one or two new spots.

I’m sure I’ll still be there.
What’s the reasoning behind the I94 cutoff by the DNR? Just Curious

ZEBRA MUSSLES I guess the beer cruisers go so fast that the zebra mussles cant get on their hull. they only can get in a bass boats live well and we might transport them to the upper St Criox.

I beleive this is the only IDA bass tournament this year. Because of the late start of putting things together, time just ran out.

Corey, would the Hastings Gazzette put something in about it? Or would they want $$$?

This was only part of the problem the main reason was that we were not able to find a Tournament Director to run them so if someone would like to apply for the job next year shoot me a PM. I am not able to do them this year as Saturday is a regular work day for me. See my last reply in Announcing the In-Depthangling.com Bass Tour…! I am able to do this one during River Town days as it falls on a Sunday. I have high hopes for a good turn out for this Tournament so come on guys what are you waiting for go ahead and get signed up! Actually for next year I am hopping we can put a Tour together we will still need a Tournament Director and I do have someone in mind for the job

the rule is for this tournament as it is one of a very few tourneys that allow the st croix to be combined w/ the miss pool 3. trust me, i exausted all options to get the boundry moved to the stillwater bridge. this is actually the 5th year there has been a rivertowndays tourney, i have been part of all of them and the dnr has never moved on the boundry thing. we used to have to release the fish at the confluence of the miss and croix and they finally have relaxed on that, now we can release them at the landing like any other tournament. but really guys this tourney is a TON of fun it is right in the middle of the action of rivertown days so we draw a great crowd. the city lets us use the landing and no one else can as it is shut down for the weekend because of the festivities. the chamber does some advertizing for us since we are a sanctioned event. they let us use the bleachers for the spectators and let us plug all of our equipment in for the weighin. i really think we can blow the top off of the tourney this year with it being run by IDA. hope to see everyone at the landing!!! thanks wallerbass1

I will try to be there, too. I have a Bass N Boys tourney the day before and I have to see if my wife will let me do 2 days in a row. Pool 3 is good for Bass. Haven’t fished that part of the Croix before. First time for everything.

Off the top of my head we have about 10 for sure teams now I went to the bass club meeting last night and have probably 3 more teams from there I also talked to Wes yesterday, he is in one of the Hudson bass clubs and he has another 3 to 5 teams that have fished it every year in the past and will this year. the team to beat again this year will be the Pechachecks they always bring in a good bag of fish and have won it 2 out of the 5 past years. the Pinkys are also another great river team and always have a shot at the top. Slop, some of you southern pool guys have probably fished against the Pinkys. It is really started to get going the past couple days, but like every year we will have a bunch of guys sign up at the landing in the am. I listed the tourney on classic bass this morning, and the bait shop in town has run out of entry forms again!! Not that it will happen this year but Im also in the process of having the boundries changed to include POOL 4!! for next year. then we will surely fill up every year. we have made a few changes for the better this year such as we can now release fish at the launch this year instead of going to the confluence like in years past. plus we have an awsome spot right smack dab in the middle of all the festivities.
so if anyone wants to fish let me or one of the other guys know. thanks Corey
