ABA Advantage Series Event on Pool 13-RESULTS

The American Bass Anglers in Eastern Iowa and NW Illinois will be holding an ABA Advantage Series Event on Pool 13 of the Mississippi River this coming Saturday April 30th.

Launch will be from the Palisades Ramp north of Savanna, IL. Late registration will run from 4:15am to 5:20am with launch at first light.

The Advantage Series runs under the same rules as our normal tournaments but with an increased entry and higher payout. Entry is $100/angler plus an optional $10 for big bass. Payout will reach $1000 for 1st place with just under 30 anglers!!

All ABA tournaments are Draw format so we need both boaters and non-boaters alike. All boaters are guaranteed use of their boat.

It was a cold and windy day on the pool but there were some very nice fish weighed in and some big sacks too. The tournament was won by Eldridge, IA angler and IDA member, JJ Patton (bassbaron) with 5 fish at 13.76lbs. JJ took home a check for $695.00. Big Bass was a 5.25lb lunker caught by Chris DeVries from Andalusia, IL.

Hhhmmmm. I suspect a changing of the guard down on pool 13.

It was a nice way to start the year off for sure- tourney entries pretty much covered after 1 tourney! Now if i can get more time and figure out a way to keep my wife and kids happy ill be set!
