I talked to Jeremy Crawford last night. The he said there were about 6 limits brought in. The fish aren’t exactly jumping out of the water. The weather has not ben fun either. I didn’t get to many details, so maybe someone else will jump in and add more info.
If I read the standings right JC and crew had 12lbs the first day and 0 on day 2 and 3. Did they break down, get DQ’ed or just lose their fish? Seems like strange results.
I’m pretty sure they broke down and then got DQ’d for losing their fish. That Crawford guy is just a shady fisherman! In fact, I think most of the field was DQ’d for losing their fish. Such is the way of Table Rock Lake.
The Rock was in full shut down mode the last 2 days of the tournament. We had a good practice and were in 8th after day 1. Day 2 came in with bright blues and little wind. Our fish and primary pattern died. We looked al of day 2 for the transition routes they may have taken and then on day 3 ran to new water looking for a few unpressured fish. The last 2 days were lessons in futility. We still only finished 4lbs out of the money and didn’t boat a fish in 2 days.. I can only chalk this up to local experience. Typically deep fish go deeper and shallow fish go shallower in these conditions. Out fish were midrange and we completely lost them. my hats off to the guys who did well. The top 10 guys were fishing dirty water making the wether change less signifigant. I am pretty upset with my proformance so look out Mississippi river fish.. I am a commin’. jc
