    6 New Districts for American Bass Anglers

    American Bass Anglers is proud to announce 6 new districts. The 6 new ABA districts are in Pennsylvania, Texas(2), Minnesota, Washington State and Alabama.
    The new Pennsylvania district is based in the Harrisburg area and the director is Jeff Longenecker. Jeffery is an energetic 28 year old father of two that loves bass fishing. Jeff’s district 92 will fish Pinchot, Blue Marsh, Raystown, and the Susquehanna River.     Ron “Dawg” Daugherty who was the director in south Texas in the Alamo district has moved to Wichita Falls and will be running the new ABA district 112.     Long time member Jeff Dixon of Delano, MN has started a new district in Minnesota. Jeff’s district will fish Mississippi River Pool 4, Waconia, Buffalo Deer Goose, and Lake Independence.     From Michigan Martin Smith will run a new Alabama – West Central – District D110 centered in the Tuscaloosa area. Martin’s new district will fish Bankhead, Holt, and Tuscaloosa lakes.     Many of you will remember Joe Paker. Joe was running a district in Texas several years ago and has now moved to Lubbock, Texas and has started a new district in “Cap Rock” area. The new district 109 will be fishing Lake Allen Henry. This lake has some real lunkers in it. In the first district 109 tournament a 13 pound bass was weighed in by Coy Callison.     We have had in the past a district in Washington State district 95 and it is back up and running under the direction of Shaun Starnes. The district will concentrate their events on Banks Lake, Liberty Lake, the Snake River, the Pend Oreille River, and Long Lake.     There are also some changes in command in several districts. Dennis Brady has taken over the director role for district 57 located in east Oklahoma. Tim Arnold has taken over command of the Smith Lake district 25 and Michael Schulte has taken over command of district 61 in upper Kansas.

    We want to welcome these new districts and directors to the best group of tournament directors for bass fishing tournaments in the US! The ABA director has great passion for the bass fishing. They each spend a lot of time and effort to run ABA tournaments run correctly and smooth is for the ABA members.
