East Iowa ABA 2005 Schedule Announcement

Time flys when you’re having fun! It is time for us to start thinking about the 2005 season. Because the ABA has a same year national every October we have to end the 2004 season by Septemeber but the fishing is still good on the river through October so there will be two tournaments this year which will count toward 2005.

Please mark us on your calendar and give us a try. We think we have a great deal to offer the weekend anglers in the area. One of these is your shot at 1 of 3 fully rigged TR-21 Triton boats and your part of the $300,000 given away at the National Championship. When you pair this with the surprising ease of qualification I know you’ll find us worth fishing.

Is there going to be a division for the upper Mississippi pools, or is that not going to occur?

I haven’t decided. That is next on my agenda. I’m not sure if I’ll have enough time to recruit up there, although this board is a great place to start.

Maybe I’ll put a post out looking for someone to help get it going. I’d like to get someone that lives closer to that area than I do that knows their way around and can serve as an assistant director. With the possiblity of taking over the district once they are comfortable.
