    Hey guys,

I was just looking into getting into some bass fishing tournaments. No real big ones right away just some smaller ones. Just wondernig how or what the best way to find out when they are held and where. I have a place on lake wapogasset but live in pierce county. I think the best place to get into some tournaments is probably polk county. If anyone has any info that would help me please write back or send me a message. Thanks.

hey, my names kris and im from pepin. i belong to a club called the tri county bass club. all of their tournys range from pool 4 to pool 9 on the river. they are nice smalltournys . the one i fished sunday there were 6 boats and the one about two weeks ago i think there were 9 or 10. there alot of fun because there really is no pressure because they are so small. and they are cheep too. because it is not a b.a.s.s. related club the dues are only 10 dollars a year and the tournys are only 10 dollars a piece. the club origionates from down by the winona area so most of the tournys are down there. they have full day sunday tournys from 6-2 or from 7-3 depending on how long the days are and they have 3 hour after work ones every other wed from either 6-9 or 5 30 – 830. its not a bad drive maybe 45 min from pepin here for most of the tournys. the next one is on pool 7 wich is located in trempleau. and its on june 16th from 6-9 and the next sunday one is june 27th. that one is on pool 8 but pool 7 and 8 launches are just on the opposite sides of the dam so there like a quarter mile away. give me a call or pm me if u are interested. they are alot of fun and i know it seems like a ways to drive but it really isnt and they are a good way to start out plus there is alot of tournys. i was looking at a club in buffulo city called the b.c. bassmasters and there dues were 60 dollars plus like 20 25 a tourny and they only had 4 tournys all year. this one has a sunday one every other week and a wed one every other week. 25 in total from april 14th to october 10th. my number is 715 442 2608 ask for kris. hope ya join up.

    Chad,
You may want to check into the Wisconsin Division of the Fishers of Men Tournament Trail. You can access some info and dates at http://wifom.com It’s a Christian based organization, and is competitive, but relaxed. I fish it with my wife, and we both enjoy it.
