The first Upper Midwest Bass Challenge Series River Division tournament of the year was held on Sunday May 20th, 2012 on the Mississippi River Pool 5. A total of 35 teams (70 anglers) fished the tournament in post spawn
conditions. Teams weighed in 158 bass (122 largemouth and 36 smallmouth) for a total weight of 436.06 lbs. All of the anglers did an incredible job with organization and fish care. We only had one fish brought to the scales that had died – 157 bass were released alive – great job of
conserving the resource guys! We paid back 8 spots – here are the teams that were in the money.
1st Place = Nate Carlson – Larry Carlson 18.77 lbs
2nd Place = Nate Daniels – Aaron Sackreiter 18.20 lbs
3rd Place = Ken Snow – Dave Mansell 18.01 lbs and Big Bass 5.29
4th Place = Brent Haimes – Matt Larson 17.42 lbs
5th Place = Randy Wieczorek – Rick House 17.23 lbs
6th Place = Devin Tiegen – Thad Vetters 15.39 lbs
7th Place = Matt Smith – Rick Raditz 15.35 lbs
8th Place = Ron Riek – Reuben Riek 15.26 lbs
