We got our five fish. Unfortunately, it took us two days to do it! As you can see looking at the results – tough bite. My boat is still dripping water from the rain and my rainsuit is wet inside and out.
First, congratulations to team #39 Keith Carlson and Curt Schrimpf who put together two 5-fish limits to win the tourney! Way to go making the adjustments under a tuff bite, constantly changing weather and water levels not to mention the pressure of a tourney. Great job!
Also, contrats to Scott Steil and Adam Adler who took 12th place. Wow, if you guys could have popped a 3-½ pounder for that 5th fish on day 2 you guys would have won! Great job getting those fish to bite!
I really can’t talk too much about where we were fishing or what we were doing as Jarred, Scott and Adam are fishing in the RCL tourney starting on Wednesday. I can tell ya that we were fishing in the same areas as Scott and Adam along with a hand full of the top 35 teams. Good Luck guys! Wish we could have got those bites!!!

Another big thanks to the Spring Valley Walleye Club who ran a great tourney. These guys took time off work during the week to stand in the rain and park trucks and help launch/load boats. Can’t say enough about that!
I pulled out the camera a few times and snapped some shots when I had chance. (Digital cameras and rain don’t mix well – LOL) Here is a link to a bunch of photos taken during pre fishing and tourney days. Most at the touney site. Just click on the IM000xx.jpg links to view.
Ok, now I need to get back to work!
