Thanks Derek…lets hope it is not as warm as it was last year! She was a cooker with dead calm seas and extremely humid 90+ degrees! My wife was a trooper as put up with it. She enjoyed it so much that she wants to do it again!

We missed it last year but will make it this year. I hate that hot stuff when its dead calm. The slot change after July 15th should make it fun. They still are only allowing one over 28.

I thought for sure after last years event, my wife would have never wanted to do it again. Her luck with Mille Lacs Lake over the years has not treated her that well with the wind and rain, and snow, etc…

I think I might ask Kath if she would like to fish the event? I have asked a number of times in the past…….with no way as a come back!
I might have to recuit some young blond and distrack the competition a little!

I told my wife if she doesnt want to fish, I will ask my girlfriend to fish it.

Hey Bob, my gal said the same thing, once she heard it was a guy/gal thing, she changed her mind.

The last time my wife fished a tourny with me……..she up-chucked on her life jacket. It was a little wrough on that day if I remember correctly.
She is a good fisherperson……..even with a book in her hand!

Two years ago we were out fishing and I said to my dad ” I can’t believe all the women out here.” We found out later that this couples tournament going on. Do any resorts put on a father/son tournament?

None yet……..only guys and gals!
