Totalscan transducer on Skeeter WX1850

    Hi all. Looking for some help on the best way to mount the Totalscan Transducer on my Skeeter wx1850. Seems the bracket that lowrance sent with it sets the transducer very a couple inches below the bottom of the boat and that is the highest I can get it. I am thinking I am going to have to fabricate my own mount for it but wanted to poll everybody here and see if anybody has tackled this issue. i think the WX1850 has the stepped transom like the mx1825 for reference.

    With the total scan you want to mount like the old skimmer. Being this is also your 2d sonar. If mounted out of the water while running you will not have depth reading.

    I can look more into the mounts for the total scan to give a better answer on where.
