Looking at a new sled. Torn between a Polaris 800 switchback adventure 136″ track or a Yamaha viper 137″ track with a turbo.

The only sleds I’m qualified to recommend are ’98 Ski-doo tourings. Those both look like awesome machines. Personally, I would go with the Yammy.

I bought a attack in 09 and put 5000 miles on it between 09-11. The most trouble free sled I have owned. The only issue I had was around 4k I had to replace the exhaust donuts. My plan was to turbo it when I picked it up but how the 4 cylinder 998cc pulled I decided it was a good idea for me not to turbo my trail sled.

I have not rode the new chassis but I know the 3 cylinder 1050 pulled as hard as the 4 but did not have the top end. I was able to break 120+ on the dream o meter every time to ws or the u.p.

I recommend you buy ’em both, then send me the one you like least! whistling
