Dave,

I’m heading up for 7 days out of the west end. We fished the same week last year and got 3 with some really roller coaster weather. Still scored my PB 51” so I’m hoping for some stabile weather this year.

We will throw the kitchen sink at these girls but I’ve got several first timers with me so I’m really hoping for some top water action. That will create some Musky addictions for sure. Good Luck!

Many years ago I was fishing top waters with the guy who taught me about Musky fishing. It was getting pretty dark out, and I started thinking about 50 inches of teeth and fury erupting on a top water right next to the boat. Had the adrenaline flowing, that’s for sure. My partner realized I was flipping the bait back to the boat from 15 or 20 feet away and then making another cast.

I’m better now, honest.
