Daredevle has some secondary names to their spoons for the different sizes rather than just listing the weight of the spoon. Like Skeeter or Spinnie. I have to look to find original package to see which is which name.

Northland’s soft body mimic minnow that comes in the smallest size is call the mimic minnow fry which comes in two sizes. The fry size only has a split fork tail. While the larger/normal size Mimic Minnow jigs comes in either a paddle tail, or slightly curves fork tail, like a curly tail grub. I have used the paddle tail before and caught crappies while ice fishing. These were originally just open water jig lures, but ice fishing with them has been very effective.

I love when people think outside the box and try open water stuff ice fishing as you can get amazing results! I am going to have to try those fry some time!

Those fairy gold jigs…them fairy wing blades are the concept that I modified my spoons and jigs. I’ve seen huge improvements in my spoons and jigs. Probably the best modification anyone can do to their lures.

The only thing I don’t like about them is it’s on the hook eye where you tie your line.
