Did some trolling for pike yesterday AM, the big ones were biting, tussled with a couple muskies as well that couldn’t get to boat.

Wtf do I even mess with dink walleyes for? I laughed out loud numerous times after yelling “holy $hit” after the initial hit.

I love pike fishing…..especially this time of year when the walleye bite slows a bit. Nothing like having a big one knock 6′ of slack in your line.

I hate to admit it, but sometimes I even fish for bass (gasp!)

I fish for eyes but anything that bites is a bonus really. Been getting a bunch lately pulling crawlers. Nothing huge but solid 26-33 inch fish. Only downside is the slime. Also a lot easier to clean than people say and great table fare.

If you’re going to take this new pursuit seriously now Nick, get the “big” rods.

Don’t leave the dock without a “big” net, hook cutters, spare treble hooks and split ring pliers. waytogo
