Tool holders for boats

I’m looking at tool holder options for boats. I’m familiar with the Rapala magnetic 3 tool holder and that works great for pliers, scissors and cutters. Many other options have knife storage which I don’t want, but could overlook if it was higher quality. I’ve been considering mounting magnetic tool holder bars to hold the tools, and also possibly provide a place to dry and secure lures out of the way.

I’m thinking something like this as far as a magnetic bar.

Anyone know of any other options to look at?

Like that magnetic idea. Right now I just picked up a truck organizer holder thing from the auto store that sits up in the windshield area. Have about 50 lures I throw in there at end of day to deal with all the time. Like to get over that

So, do you just leave the holder in the pocket until you’re ready to use your scissors? I’m confused.

LMAO! Well, in my defense, he was rocking a mini skirt and a red haired wig and it was dimly lit when the barman said last call.

Speaking of, let me know how that sheep experiment thing goes you were trying last week.

I have the Titan in my fishing boat for the last two or three years.
Works very well and I’m clueless as to why they haven’t caught on more.
I look at some of the eye boats that come by my camper and there’s jigs all over the place. Maybe it just because they need to make a Titan WRAP that goes around the inside of the boat. LOL!

Brian – how are you mounting the Titan lure holder? The tape is good? I find the tape/magnet/tape permanent installation a little odd. You don’t see that often enough! jester

I picked up a bar type to try for now. I don’t think the Titan would mount directly to the alumatrac mount I’m rigging. Maybe, if I misapply the tape correctly? I’ll post a pic once I get the bar mounted. I think it’ll be awesome.

    Here’s what I have.

It’s super strong, the package said 30lbs per inch. The smaller lures are held without any jangling too.

Fishwater that’s a beefy arse bar and I understand the longevity of such a monster. I wonder how a simple kitchen bar would handle. There has to be a composite out there somwhere?

    That’s the one Sinker.

I used small screws to hold mine in place.

    talkin’ about them tool(s).

I found another product. I think this might work well, less jingle jangle than the Titan on the tackle side?
