We had one a couple years ago on the front lawn of our office building! 10 of us co-workers went out at lunch time (both males and females) and had a tug-a-war. Needless to say I was on the losing side and ended up on the grass. It was hard to stop laughing.

That actually sounds like a fun worker tourney. Good way to blow off some steam.

Initially it was somewhat difficult to get enough people to participate but we were all glad we did it after the fact. I’d definitely do it again.

We have a water balloon fight at our annual picnic too. Great way to unload on some co-workers that you don’t necessarily get along with lol

Back in 02 we wrapped up a year’s long implementation project where we worked like 80 hours a week. Excruciating, no PTO, weekends, late nights, etc. At the end we had a group outing and went paintballing. Holy balls did everyone gang up on Miles even his teammates!

Take your shots, don’t exercise, don’t eat healthy, consume more negativity via media. Do as you’re told, the TV said so. It’s for your health of course. Anyone over 55 who shovels is an insurrectionist.

Easy there young whipper snapper. I dragged my fishing crap off a lake last week, about 150 yards, got to the landing with my hand on the phone ready to dial 911. Using the wheeler from here on out. Smitty sled was used, just getting old.

    toast

I’m not sure how old you are. But the other guys are in my age bracket. And we are not to old for a little physical work. Some may be out of shape. But not to old.

I am not opposed to physical work, it just may take me longer to complete it. BTW, 61.

    p.s. We have met Bearcat.

Found this on Kare 11. Apparently 45 or maybe 55 is the new recommended limit for shoveling and even blowing snow. jester
I guess that means a bunch of us on IDO can get together for ice fishing whenever it snows?!?!?! woot
Maybe the plow companies are behind this ground breaking news cause there sure aren’t kids willing to shovel for pay around here.
Nobody to clear driveways but the old farts that own them! rotflol

    Yeah,
I just spent 5 nights up at the cabin with my new Southern Belle that’s 9 years younger than me.

It’d prolly been less physical to drag a 24 x 48 Ice castle outta Hunters to the flats by hand.

BTW – I had 911 on speed dial.

    Giddy-up! woot

I seem to be getting enough exercise going to funerals of people that exercised.

I’m going to shovel until I die. Lol!!! I’m 69 and I either blow or shovel 275 feet of sidewalk. I also have a 4 car garage with the driveway I also do. Moderation is the key. Where I used to rest 1 or 2 times, I rest when I start to breath harder. Just use common sense

We can’t all be as tough as Bearcat Brasky.

It’s tough But some one has to hold us all together chased toast

Might be time for a new moniker, maybe Bearglue? I have a sizeable driveway and use a plow on the SXS but still have to shovel the decks and clean up with a snowblower. I’m usually drenched in sweat when I’m done.
    I’m 61 but it’s gotta get done!
