Notice on their home page, that it is their number 1 product. It also says they have them in stock, but doesn’t say how long before you would get it. I gotta think if its Jakarta, that its quite a wait, but ice fishing is over, so as long as its here before next year…..yeah!!! Right!!
I called Marcum this morning and they looked at the website with me and said they don’t know how these guys got the flashers, don’t know if I would get it if I paid them. They did say, though, that if I did get it from them, and if I had a receipt and it was new when I purchased it, they would honor the warranty. I also asked about counterfeit or bogus flashers, and he said he never heard of anything like that and it would be a first. He took my name and number and said he was going to ask around Marcum today and if he heard anything negative that he would get back to me right away. They also said that the best place to purchase it is at a place that specializes in fishing equipment, like Reeds or Cabelas or Gander. So if you want to take your chances and put it on a credit card, make sure you keep an eye on it and notify the credit card company right away if you don’t get it or if need to make a claim, you have your information handy.
PS. Shipping is $45.00, but they are shipping it from Jakarta!! Be extra careful. I will let you know how it turns out for me.
