In honor of Sharons GTG tomorrow tonight’s topic will be cancelled. Can’t have any fights or disagreements at the GTG.

Out of curiosity, what were the cancelled topics?. Asking for a friend.

I heard it revolved around breakfast tacos and laptop privacy.

I thought maybe about the fat kid or china doll???🤭

I think it was who is responsible for the supply chain shortages that are stopping Sharon from getting all the ingredients she needs to make her treats.

Was it the thing about the guy that the lady said but she shouldn’t of?

You’ll have to make it to one of these gtg’s Dutchy. Plenty of us the enjoy discussions and even some banter.

There are different levels of topics. One level is when I know BK is watching. Another is when he isn’t watching. Another is a late post when I know the natives have a beer buzz going.

But, none for tonight. Well, unless of course that rabble rouser in Iowa shoots me a topic I can’t pass up. Right Sheldon?

How did I get involved in this!!? Harumphs all around!!
No worries, I will jump all over this, this old halfbreed and my squaw went out for supper tonight at a nice local restaurant, got there about six fifteen.
Then the chaos began, a large family and four little kids came in, another family of seven and in short order it got very loud in there!!
When in thee heck did it become okay for kids to be excessively loud in a restaurant??
Good grief!! Ive been to concerts that are not that loud!!
I didnt know whether to get out of my chair and do one of the following, ask for another table, scare the living sh!t out of the kids or beat the parents for letting them be that loud.

It was bad enough it took forty five minutes to get our meal but honest to Pete I couldnt taste my food as my nerves were in overdrive trying to tone out the racket.
Just got home and mixed my first toddy, ya, I know, two and half hours late in doing so, I sure hope that racket isnt stuck in my head all night long, reminds me of when I helped dad and our neighbor plow and disc fields all day and night, the roar of those tractors in my head would take about a week to subside after the fields were all done.
Me thinks next time I am taking ear plugs with me just in case,SHEESH!!

I’ve got a 3 yr old girl and she goes 90 mph all day it’s definitely a roll of the dice when we go out to

Thanks MK, I can understand a baby up to three years old being loud, especially in new surroundings.
I however cannot forgive four to ten years old being like that, nor can I deal with kids AND adults who chew with open mouths, whatever happened to manners in public, or at home for that matter??

Come on eyeguy507 !! its a dang chat room and yes, I get it, we are supposed to be discussing fishing and hunting, but how many times can you discuss the latest and greatest walleye line, OOOHHH its greener than last year!!, gotta buy me three rolls of that stuff!!

I would love to post something about fishing in Iowa but with the warm temps here and lack of rain fishing sucks and I have nothing to yack about other than some of the water here is as green as that new line.

Yes but that’s why we enjoy this site. Besides that I haven’t seen a single thing posted worth any ones time. I have nothing good to add, do you ? Or just want to rag on a guy for doing nothing ?

I thought I would head up for this one but, As it turns out, I could have headed Up, Nort! But with no reservations I’m not go’in to wing it so I’m not coming.

Congrats on your boy winning. My boys team lost tonight. We are back at it tomorrow at 9am but like you I needed a drink so after a cigar and about 6 beers at the neighbors I’m off to bed and at it early tomorrow. Kids baseball is fun to watch but I’m looking forward to the break

I feel the same. If they win again in the morning it can go on to 4 more games tomorrow. I’m secretly hoping to be eliminated and spend the day tubing

Grandson is just about done with Baseball.
Kinda like Christmas.

I’m ready for it to be over and go back to dirt bike season. But after today and tomorrow’s tourney we still have 5 more games I think

your boys playing in one of the State Tournaments this weekend? which age and level?

we’ll be at MSF State next weekend for 12AA in Sartell.

I’m expecting an 11 year old to be bawling in the backseat at some point today. Or with a first or second place ribbon around his neck tomorrow…. The last baseball tournament is an emotional thing for him. He’s been in camps, practicing and playing ball since early February. It’s bittersweet here in drifterville. Fall ball is only a month away.
