Well that’s a wrap for the first day. Just one spike going to my sis and that’s it so far. We have new little bucks showing up on camera and we hope to get one more deer in our group and the last ones standing will trophy hunt. How was opener for others?

Sounded like a war zone around us. I saw a bunch of does but no horns. There are two bucks I would like to take a look at that I know of.

Saw a doe and 2 well grown fawns on the food plot during the evening stand. And 18 turkey were also using the plot! Very gratifying to see animals using the plot, hard work pays off.

    Good luck everyone.

My father in law said there was a monster 10 pointa king a b-line right for my stand juat after sun up, not sure where he went but never saw or heard him. When he could last see the deer it was coming down the trail that goes right by me, must have cut up the ridge just out of site. One small buck at noon amd what looked like a buck dogging a doe right at dark. Morning around us was pretty active by the outs of shots I would say.
