I had seen this over on Muskie First. There is a Go Fund Me page set up for him if anybody wants to help out.

Why is it bad things seem to happen to good people?

I saw a picture of the brain scan and the tumor’s size on another website. Unreal big clouded area. Prayers to Tommy and his family.

I can imagine. I was diagnosed last August. Not had the boat in the water, or stepped foot in the woods since. Chemo, major surgery, radiation, and now probably back on chemo or imunotherapy again starting in May. It’s just a bad deal.
Tommy and his family have a huge battle in front of them. It totally consumes the entire family – and never ends. Knowing family and friends are praying, staying close, and reaching out to to help really makes a difference though. It’s a very helpless feeling otherwise. Stay positive Tommy!
Prayers to Tommy and his family.

Tommy was/is home for Easter, then returns to Mayo for biopsies and a game plan. He has a strong relationship with God and is leaning on that for direction. He is one strong man, nt lick of “why” but full of thank you.

Tommy underwent surgery to remove to remove the tumor or that which can be safely removed. He’s in ICU now, but no word on his condition or to what extent the tumor was reduced or removed. He’s still needing prayers and mine are on-going for him.

Tommy has been moved to a private room now and is awake and aware. According to a report I read elsewhere he has some hand/finger and mobility issues. That report also stated that the doctors have a plan for him and he’ll learn what they have in mind in a day or so. Hopefully they were able to get that lump out in one piece so its gone for good. Tommy’s incredible faith is , or should be, something we all can learn from. My prayers will continue for him, his family and his healing. God bless this man.

Sad. I work with brain tumor and neurosurgical patients. Brain tumors can be very tragic. Sounds like it was discovered after a seizure. They’ll have to get the biopsy results to get an accurate prognosis and better understand their treatment options. I hope for his sake it’s not a glioblastoma.

From his FB page, it looks like he is about 1/2 way done with his radiation treatment. You can see his page w/o a FB account as well.
