    Awful. My favorite boat tunes, hands down. One of the greatest rock & roll songwriters of all time. Also made some of the very best music videos back when that actually mattered.

    This really sucks, Petty was great. WILDFLOWERS was one of the CD’s we wore out driving around when I was in high school.

    Officially he has not died. Unfortunately reports are that he is not expected to make it through the night but he has not been confirmed dead.

    Traveling Wilburys were the greatest supergroup of all time and Full Moon Fever is in my top 10 favorite albums. Really a sad loss for music.

    Gregg Allman, Tom Petty, Prince. Who’s going to replace all these artists that had real talent? Jay Z and flippin’ Usher? Not likely.

    My favorite line from the best music film of all time, The Commitments: “It’s all been shite since Roy Orbinson died.”
