Wasn’t planning on panic buying till I saw this post.

“Honey get the keys to the yukon and help me bring the enclosed trailer from around back would ya? The world is ending so were going for a TP run”

I’m starting to panic because I still can’t find Scotts and might have to open the panic buy Charmin.

There have been quite a few social media fueled panics lately. The whole thing is stupid, a bunch of idiots get together on Facebook and invent a bunch of reasons why it’s logical to them that something is about to be in short supply and they create a run on that very item.

The latest ones I’ve heard of:

    – Ketchup was all sold out for about 4 days in some parts of the Cities. Facebook rumors that there was going to be a shortage.

    – Tator tots back a few weeks ago. Rumor that there was a potato crop failure. Bizarrely the panic did not clean out other frozen potatoes, just tots. FFS.

    – Bud Light back in April. Another Facebook rumor that Bud was shutting down production for six months.

    – Paper towles back at the end of August. Suddenly stores were empty again, no idea why.

All this stuff is back in stock now. Probably the same idiots reacting to each panic and rushing out to horde.

These are just the ones I’ve heard of or seen. There probably have been others.

I’ve been wondering how much is really panic buying and how much is purely a lack of supply. Too many weird items out of stock to make me believe that it is buying.

My store has had plenty of PT & TP for quite awhile now including the good stuff. Although, no luck finding Clorox wipes or Clean Shower – I shop late morning.

This would/could have been a disaster.

What’s a fried walleye sandwich without the requisite tater tots?

I’m not taking any chances though, I’ll be at Garrison Family Foods first thing tomorrow morning when they open and buy every bag they got.

Tomorrow nights fish fry (with tater tots) will be fresh caught smallmouth bass.

Last Friday fish fry was fresh caught Mille Lacs walleye (with tater tots)…figured I’d keep things interesting. laugh

Underrated tp of the year is walmart brand soft something or another. Way cheaper then name brand and feels like a soft cloud on the rump when your in need.
But maybe its because I’m used to job sites with sandpaper as tp. That stuff kills a guy after a few glasses of morning coffee.

As for ketchup goes, good riddance that stuff is terrible. I think the devil him self created that and mayo.
Tabasco and spicy BBQ is all a guy needs. Especially with mille lacs walleye and tatir tots

If that’s all a guy has, I would say his rear vent would feel like a sandpaper scrub without using any TP.
