This whole thing could really snowball…

If there’s truly a TP shortage, then a corresponding ban should be placed on sales of the liquid enema that is Mich Golden until this crisis is resolved.

DON’T SAY THAT, I JUST BOUGHT A 24 PACK THAT CAME WITH A $4 REBATE!!! doah

Well I’m officially annoyed…… my regular order has been interrupted by idiots hoarding turd paper! Sam’s sent me just one of the two toilet paper packs I ordered. The 2nd pack of TP is out of stock, not available on backorder and they no idea when they will have it back in stock.

I have a tree with big leaves the size of two hands. Set for the summer when shite hits the fan. Yep, I have an air filtration system to ward of my neighbors lack of preparation. I had to put the dinning room table in storage to make room. Gun locker is full and my judge is always by my side.

I get the concern but causing panic is the what is leading to all this madness.

Well…ya, as a non-overreacting person buying my usual 4 pack of TP I’d not take kindly knowing rats cleaned out the entire supply hoarding cartfuls leaving nothing for the sensible reason minded folks. mad

My dimes worth . If you are comparing some scared people to rats, that’s pathetic,I come from a generation where bomb shelters were normal, A-bomb drill in school hiding under your desk was a thing you prepared for, this is no joke. Will raise your nickle to a dime.

Well rats are pathetic, as are some people…what’s your point?

And your generation is the same as mine. I remember the drills too, hiding under school desks…even as kids we knew that would only delay the inevitable unless we could get to an underground fallout shelter and live there for the next 6 months. roll

Guess what? Never needed that, what I need next week is more TP.

You can keep your dime, and my nickel too…

big step shutting out travel into the US starting this Friday! We may not have Abomb drills but those have been replaced by active shooters who had their feelings hurt in schools spraying lead in any direction. just 2 days ago, in my daughter’s middle school, we had gun threats. this is the new norm and I can only hope these threats are just that……………

Just confirmed Target in Woodbury can hardly keep it on the shelves. We actually needed it and bought one package. Spoke to a couple employees there and we all laughed about it but they hate seeing people go out with cart fulls.
    Such nonsense.

I stopped at Lunds/Byerlys yesterday to pick up some groceries, out of curiosity
I checked out the TP Stash.

Is this affecting diaper supply as well? Adult or infant or both? I guess I’m missing something but all the food shelves are stocked as normal. Canned goods, frozen goods, dairy coolers are full, you can get whatever you want. But then there’s no toilet paper? ??? Well I’m not trading any of my Spam for toilet paper! There are hundreds alternatives to toilet paper but there’s only one Spam!!

We did our usual mid-week grocery run after our walk this morning and everywhere we went they had plenty. There was one Asian woman with four-12 rolls packages in the check out line behind us. I shook my head and she smiled. As we were leaving the register I told her “happy wiping”. Sick people.

I have a feeling this hoarding is more of a metropolitan issue.

I haven’t looked around but canned stuff was very sparse at the super target I was just at.
