Well it might be cloudy today, but at least you won’t have to wear ‘Sunblock..’

If the space aliens landed today, they’d conclude we’re all insane and exterminate the whole bunch of us. This is pretty much like having a cloud go over, right?

I’m more curious what’s going to happen when half the population (and their dogs apparently) are blind afterwards…

    Think fishing will be affected?

I has been a snoozer for a few hundred years. But just imagine the power you could command back in the day if you claimed to have the ability to block out the sun and then you actually pulled it off!!!

They’d probably have burnt you at the stake.

OMFG it JUST got cloudy 15 min before peak!! How cruel is that!
hahaha Now the eclipse just looks like a storm moving in. It was neat while the sky was clear.

Rumor has it that Wyoming for the first time ever may have had more people than Antelope. – Not a joke. Fort Collins to past Cheyenne was bumper to bumper and stop/go with all the traffic going up to Casper

I looked at the eclipse today as it was happening and I never went blind. doah

I remember when I was growing up, mom caught me and said if you keep doing that you’ll go blind. I still have 20/20 vision. whistling

It’s a new Alaskan reality TV show about game wardens patrolling the salmon run.

I did get a cool photo of the eclipse. Sometimes you have to pay attention to the less obvious.

I drove to MO for the eclipse. All I can say is YES, it was worth it. For all the folks who say “an eclipse, meh”. The TOTAL eclipse is nothing like viewing a partial eclipse. and it is much more than just the view. The experience is almost surreal. Yes I would drive to another one.

I thought it was pretty cool going on my afternoon walk with the lights dim, but still, meh. No, it wasn’t like a cloud was partially blocking the son, the ambient lighting was pretty cool. I imagine and extra 15% to a full eclipse from 85% would make a significant difference.
