Checked out the G-Box at FF today and for $11 figured I’d try one for my tungsten jigs. So far really digging it!

Now to finish combining all my small tungsten boxes and then buying some more Fiskas.

Still plan on grabbing that box, but my other one dropped out the boat to concrete today so took over an ice tackle box with foam, it’ll do for now.

Do like the fact sinkers and hooks together, and my beads and swivels are together separately

they always get under or around the separators.

Rubber cement them in place so they don’t lift up when trying to pull out a hook.

I’ve also had them shift between the lid and the dividers. Tried duct tape on the seams but hooks stuck to the tape!
    Any ideas?

A 1/8” layer of soft neoprene or foam rubber cut to fit and rubber cemented to the underside of the lid does wonders. It also helps keep the dividers from creating a gap on the bottom side as well. Only downside is you can no longer see inside the lid.

I use boxes without movable dividers. I don’t get hooks going under or over, they stay where I put them. Falcon and Plano make good ones. I would need 5 or more of the foam boxes to hold what I can put in one box. I would think real estate in most boats is precious.

I’ve been using the Falcon since they came out 15+ years ago. They are great except I don’t like everything rattling around banging into each other. I’m gonna take a look at these foam boxes but you’re probably right in regards to real estate required.

I switched over to gamakatsu g-boxes this year. They have nice slit foam in them like a fly box. Fleet farm stocks them, I believe they are under 12 bucks. They are by far the best hook or jig box I have found.

I got 2 in Hudson and they are great! Good tip.
