So I just have a few questions to see if anyone can offer or help me with some insights on how to work the Rapala Slab Rap in open water and have successfully caught walleye, crappie and other types of fish? I’ve never really fished baits like these before and would like some tips on technique of how to use and jig with these and your recommendations on rod and reel setup I use a 7”6’ light Shimano Clarus Rod with a Shimano sienna 1000 8lbs braid with 6 lb mono or fluorocarbon leader line with a swivel size 14 about a 1 ft – 1 1/2 ft long.
