I’ve been struggling for years trying to transport these without ending up with a giant mess. Just seen on the Larry smith show the Beaver dam tip up bag . I went right to order but was stopped dead in my tracks with sticker shock i could see thirty but sixty-five dollars is way to much. Does anyone have a good diy tip up storage and transportation method.

Take a measurement and go to fleet farm and get a plastic tool box with the tool tray on top long enough to fit them- shouldn’t be more than $15 or so. You can easily get 5-6 tip ups in there and still use the tray for small tools, extra leaders, small scoop, etc. I usually lay a couple insulated hole covers between the tip ups so they don’t rattle around too much if they are being towed.

Cabela’s and Gander both have a carrying case. Think I paid around 20

I use a dry bag from Ax Man, works great, throw it in, one big easy to use clip shuts it all in-the material of the bag stays flexible even below zero.

Here is my set up: 2 liter bottles w top cut off and bolted to bucket. Hooks sit down in the bottles and don’t tangle. Set up also holds my tip downs.

Beaverdam one is 49.99 at fleetfarm and if you have a coupon can be 40ish. Love the bag
