Been seeing a few posts on small lakes and old lakes. Fished what I would describe as a tiny lake today. Via Google Earth I’ve estimated this lake somewhere between 2.5-3 acres. It’s connected to a 25 acre that has the standard bass, pike & panfish. What surprised the heck out of me is this tiny lake had about 28′ of water. I of course questioned it and went old school. Sure enough, 5 full arm lengths of depth. Nothing big but managed a dozen crappies up to 10″ to serve as dinner and one nice pumpkinseed.
