    Agree, I’d add Aretha Franklin to that list for the Trifecta of influential female singers who’ve passed.

    I remember on David Letterman’s show he did a comedy bit on new book releases. “Woman Be Thinkin’ Too Much…The Ike Turner Story”. It cracked me up. It did because Tina had escaped his abuse and was in the middle of her huge success as a solo artist.
