Normally would be headed to LOW this week for walleyes but because of schedule not an option this year. Wondering about other times such as July thru October? Any recommendations or experiences during those months? Thanks

I’ve always heard good things about the fall shiner run up the Rainy, but have never fished it so that would be my choice. But there’s no bad time to go to LOW imo!

I go to Rainy Lake in early October each year, last year because the bite on the Lake was not good, we trailered the boat and went downriver for the last 2 days and did very well near Birchdale

If you like trolling crank baits in the basin the middle of July through Labor Day is usually a solid pattern.

James did an episode about last year. It is the second half of the episode below.

We did this last year in the first part of August and had good success.

We are heading up Thursday morning. Hopefully the jig bite is going strong.
