I have a 2001 Yamaha 150 vmax, I rebuilt the trim seals put it all back together and can’t get the air out of the system. I don’t see a bleeder screw, do these auto bleed? Any one dealt with this problem, any advice would be appreciated.
I had an 03 vmax. It leaked hydraulic out of the tilt trim. After a tip from a mechanic, he said loosen the fill hole cap and lower and raise the motor. It kinda poops a buncha fluid out but it did work. I was up on Mille lacs with no trim, added fluid, tried this technique and was up and running again. Hopefully someone smarter than me will chime in here. Good luck!
