Tilt repair

    Mariner 150
    Tilt/Trim works perfectly going up
    Will not operate going down.
    Motor will slowly move down on its on.
    Seems there is no power on the down side of the tilt.
    Suggestions?

    It is most likely one of the tilt and trim relays. They are pretty simple to replace and fairly inexpensive.

    You can check out the relays by swapping them if it goes down not up it’s the relays they are relitivly cheep buy 2 then figure out who’s bad then save the good old one for a spare!

    Had the same problem with a 1999 75 hp merc tiller these guys are right on change out the relay good to go and a easy fix and cheap, good luck.
