Recently, My GF and I went after some Tiger Trout up in the Mountains here in Colorado! We usually have some time in between ice fishing for them up there, since it’s a workout to get to them…We walked in about a mile through 54″ of snow with no tracks, we had our snowshoes though so it was manageable!
Ice was 19-20″ thick. Arms/Shoulders were a bit sore after the day. Hand Augur woes lol. Getting a drill bit one soon. Weather was VERY NICE! A warm 32 Degrees and sunny. Was able to fish in a sweater and no gloves most of the day 
We had some success landing into Tiger Trout and a nice looking brown trout! I know a lot of people here are from the Minnesota, is this species available for you guys to fish?
