The ice is going bye bye. I really am not ready to quit ice fishing but not sure it it make it through this week in my area of NW Wis. Had about 5″ of clear ice on one lake yesterday and that aint much to play with.
With the wild temp ride this week I hope to get another chance this coming weekend.

Heading to Lake of the Woods by Morson, Ontario next Sunday (knock on wood). I believe they still have plenty of ice but a video from last week had guys fishing in the rain. This coming week is a roller coaster of temperatures. They may be getting some snow but I’m expecting glare ice and just hoping any water on the ice has frozen.

SE MN we had 2 weeks of hardwater. Had the boat out yesterday along with 200 others it seemed.
Still had 10″ in NW WI were I was last nite. Top inch or so was soft, but rest looked pretty good. Should make it thru weekend.
Was out Sunday around St.Cloud around 8 inches. Lots of lakes looked sketchy. Have a trip out to devils lake the 7-10.
StJoe guy where do you stay at Morson. Go up there in the summer.
