The ticks are out in force already.
Don’t forget to spray before going out near any grass/woods.
Check your nooks and crannies afterwards. Lymes disease can be nasty.

I just gave my lab her 1st dose of Bravecto last week, just in time.
Dam I hate them little critters!!

Thanks I was kind of wondering if the bugs were out there yet. I’ll be applying the first application of tick/flea prevention to the dog this week.

I would do it asap if you haven’t. A buddy already found one on himself and his dog last week around the cities.

I use Bravecto for my boys and since it’s a 3-month chewable, I start in early March. Then the only 3-month period where they don’t get the preventative is Dec/Jan/Feb.

I wish I could take one, too.

I know right! Although I suppose we’d still need bug spray to keep the hungry mosquitos at bay. I already got a mosquito bite – sucker got me on the ankle! chased

I starting seeing them on my dogs two weeks ago at my cabin. One on my arm last weekend. I treated both dogs last week. My older dog uses the chewable Nex Guard. My young dog is using topical Frontline. I’ll probably move her over to Nex Guard soon. I used Front Line for many years on several dogs but this chewable seems to be working well and its very convenient.

Our dog is on Bravecto all year.

We are using Simpirica 3 this year. Our Vet recommended it. It’s supposed to be good for fleas, ticks, and heart worm.
