Throttle Lock on Suzuki 9.9 kicker motor?

    sort of a noob question here but I bought a new 9.9 Suzuki kicker outboard late last fall and I could not locate the throttle lock on it. I went fishing with a friend who has a Yamaha 9.9 and he has a little lever right next to the throttle that locks it at the desired speed. Is this not equipped on my motor or an I just missing something?

    Probably no help but I have a zuke 8 hp from around 1998 and it just has a screw knob tightener so the throttle stays in position.

    My 07 9.9 suzuki has a knob under the handle that tightens the throttle position into place.

    i must have just missed it. i only used it a few times before putting the boat away for the winter. i will look under the handle. thanks fellas
