Just posted on their facebook page. Starting a 5000 sq ft expansion on their building. Looks like it’ll be pretty cool. New warehouse, rod building shop and expanded store area. Should be pretty nice when finished.

It was, they moved to Blaine about 10 years ago. Right off hwy 65
Was just there last week. It is a bit crowed in there to say the least. Good to hear they are expanding. They must be doing well, if they are able to expand. They are one of only a few Ma and Pa shops still around. Their employees are some of the most knowledgeable there is in the business.
Better beef up security – it seemed like they were getting robbed all the time not too long ago.
Great store and very knowledgeable staff. I am glad they can do this. I am not on Facebook, so keep us posted when it is done and I will have to make a trip up there to check it out.
Thorne bros is one of the best fishing stores around. And they build some of the best rods from ice to open water.
Living a mile from there its great! They always have the stuff I need it seems like. Staff is great as well. I’d much rather go there than the big stores that’s for sure.

Its about 5 or so miles for me but yeah its great having them around for when FF doesn’t have what I need. Vados bait is another company in the area that does a great job.

The geek in me likes that the store is wall to wall fishing-no skis, guns, paintball, etc. they know their stuff.

It is owned now by two former employees. Josh sold out earlier this year to them. I know Kurt he was a manager. I don’t personally know the other owner. Kurt is a good guy and straight shooter, so I am sure they will continue to treat their customers well.
