Walleyes and saugers on Pool 9 are definitely not as strong as they once were. Harvest has some impact I’m sure… but habitat loss is a much bigger factor imo. Perch are benefiting from increases in aquatic vegetation. Walleyes are hurting as spawning and other key areas are silted in.
