I have to say today’s episode was probably the best one I’ve seen. Super unique, something I haven’t seen you guys do. Really cool fishing spot and just a blast to watch. I bet it wasn’t the easiest to shoot either! Great show guys!

Cool show! I really enjoy the “non-traditonal” shows.

I really enjoyed this episode as well, good job. Just glad I didn’t have to hoof the camera gear in and around there.
So, IF YOUR NAME HAD BEEN DRAWN, what would your dream fishing trip with James have been??
    — Mine would be tarpon on a fly rod, in Cuba. (James would have dropped the phone and pulled another name I suspect)

Mine would be a wheelhouse weekend on Mille Lacs. Where we circle the wagons, drink beer, eat venison, and all have walkie talkies with cool Top Gun handles. Since I won I would get to be Maverick.

Maverick would be quite dissappointed on how many times he crash landed into the carrier on Nintendo in my house as a kid.

Fun show! Been a long time since I fished those north shore streams.

Guy who won likes fishing smallies. Will we see a show at Mille Lacs? #dothelake woot

I would love to catch a tarpon but given I have absolutely no firsthand knowledge to work with when it comes to catching one… we’d be forced to learn together! grin

We’re headed to Sturgeon Bay next week! Grant + friend wanted a chance to catch trophy walleye and smallmouth and The Bay is tough to beat for both species.

Agreed! This steelhead episode brought me back to my roots fishing stream trout in SE MN… except the fish were a LOT bigger. We’re already scouting locations in MI to do this type of show again in the future. waytogo

IN MI you could Drift boat fishing on THe Pierre Marquette. Can fly fish, use hot n tots or bobbers n bait. I did enjoy the episode thanks

As someone who still fishes trout in SE MN, I absolutely loved the steel head episode. And ya know….SE MN trout fishing wouldn’t be a bad idea for a show at some point, too. Keep up the great work. Love the variety of shows/fishing techniques.
