Does anyone know about this access? Wondering if there is any current?

Hoping to maybe duck hunt this weekend

I went out it once spearing. I thought Dixon lake resort uses it for a spearing access but don’t believe they own it.

As far as current, can’t be much we speared it like the first or 2nd weekend of dec.

My buddy has a cabin in about a half a mile from there and it’s where we put in. There is very little current if any in that flowage.

3rd river is kind of a big slew. Yes some flowage but not a lot. quite a ways form the main lake. there may be other landing to go out of. try the first landing by the campgrounds just north of the Mississippi that should get you out to the main lake if you are hunting divers.

Don’t go out of that launch if you don’t have a mud motor. It’s garbage.

Never used the third river landing myself Lindyrig but there are a few landings in Cut Foot (East Seelye Bay and McAvity Bay) that are decent and I have used with both my 18′ and 16′ boats over the past few years.

The landing is fine, it’s gravel no dock. The path out to the lake varies from year to year with the rice.
