Thinking of starting a charity tournament – what do I need to know?

    Have been thinking of starting a charity fishing tournament – and have only participated in a few. Know nothing about running one… If I were to start one for next summer – what do I need to know? Do I need to work with DNR, get lake association approval? If its a Hennepin County Park lake (a possibility) do I need to let them know? Etc, Etc, Etc.. More questions than answers at this point. Any input appreciated.., thx!

    Perhaps Shane @thebassman85 can chime in, bass guys should have a little more free time come hard water here toast
